Before Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Dance Moms became hits the queen of reality TV was MTV’s The Hills. In 2006 nothing was better than watching LC, Lauren Conrad, leave the drama of the OC behind her and move to the sunny city of Los Angeles. Of course, being reality TV, The Hills had it’s share of love, drama and cat-fights. Now nearly ten years after The Hills finale episode MTV is bring us a sequel, The Hills: New Beginnings. And, here we are sharing everything we know so far about the new show.
Premiere Date: The official air date for the first episode of the new show has been announced. The show will premiere of June 24th so basically this summer get a whole lot more cooler.
So Last Year: Reportedly the show already has month of episodes under their belt, because rumor has it they’ve been filming since August 2018. The cast has been seen with camera crews and Heidi even shared an Instagram story while filming.
Old Cast, New Cast: The majority of the cast will be from the original show excluding stars like Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari and Lo Bosworth. However fan favorites Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag, Whitney Port will be back plus a new addition to the show Misha Barton. As you can see these four lovely ladies are the face of are May issue.
Move Over Mom Life: Although, Patridge, Montag and Port have all become mothers over the past years, the show is not going be all about #momlife. According to reports, even though motherhood is an important part in all of the girls lives but the show will not primarily focus on their lives as moms.
Family Drama: There is a lot of tension going between Spencer and Stephanie Pratt these days. The two are on speaking terms but don’t see eye to eye. In an interview with E! News, Whitney Port shared, “It’s hard when we film. There is this need or push to pick sides. They kind of want you to pick sides, but I’m really not that kind of person.”
